Adventure Caving Mon-Fri

Adventure caving is an exciting activity that gives participants the opportunity to explore one of our semi-wild or wild caves. We have a range of caves suitable for guided adventure caving activities depending on age range, group size and level of experience.

Activity duration is approximately 1.5 hours. Tours are limited to 9-14 people per cave, however multiple caves can be booked depending on the size of your group.

Minimum age 8 years old for all caves.

PLEASE NOTE: 

• Helmets and headlamps are provided 

• Enclosed shoes, long pants and long sleeves are necessary

. 

There are four caves in Yanchep National Park that we use for adventure caving: 

 YONDERUP – MAMBIBBY – YANCHEP – GILGAR 

Depending on what sort of experience you want, and your level of fitness helps to determine the appropriate cave. 

YONDERUP CAVE – MAX 9 PARTICIPANTS 

This is a good first adventure cave as the age limit starts from 8 years. Yonderup Cave has some stairs and pathways but no electricity. There is one crawl section and one climb up 

and down some rocks.

MAMBIBBY CAVE – MAX 14 PARTICIPANTS 

Mambibby Cave is an excellent cave for larger groups and is not rated difficult. There are some stairs and pathways but no electricity. There is one belly crawl where you will get 

dirty and one climb up and down some rocks.

YANCHEP CAVE – MAX 9 PARTICIPANTS 

Good cave for those that want the next level up for adventure caving. Yanchep Cave is a totally wild cave – no stairs, pathways or electricity. You will be climbing, crawling, lying flat 

and squeezing through one small space. You will get very dirty!

GILGAR CAVE – MAX 9 PARTICIPANTS 

Gilgar Cave is another totally wild cave – no stairs, pathways or electricity and is the most adventurous of the four caves. Be prepared for a good workout, expect a few bruises and 

to get very dirty!
