Discover the importance of dance for communication in traditional Nyoongar culture. Students learn how to communicate through dancing and how expression in dance is linked to the spiritual beliefs of the Nyoongar people. Students will also be introduced to the didgeridoo and will learn to identify sounds used in storytelling.
School years: 1 - 12 (age adaptable - junior and senior activities available)
Participants: Maximum of 30 students/adults per activity.
Cost: $10 per student for this activity. Minimum booking fee applies for 15 students - $150. One adult per 10 students is free of charge, extra adults will be charged $16.00 each
